RS Pondok Indah - Pondok Indah Achieves PERSI Awards 2021 for Consistently Supporting Healthcare Workers Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic Era

During this COVID-19 pandemic, RS Pondok Indah Group continues to make various efforts for the convenience of all health workers, such as shuttle bus facilities, regular COVID-19 test checks, provision of complete PPE, as well as distribution of vitamins and various foods that can help maintain the immunity of all health workers. In addition, there are also special designated rest areas, inpatient rooms, and self-isolation facilities for the health workers infected with COVID-19.

This commitment ultimately led RS Pondok Indah - Pondok Indah to win the 2021 PERSI Awards for the Paramakarya Dharmartha Husada category, with the theme “Hospitals That Give the Best Appreciation for Health Workers in COVID-19 Pandemic Era.”

With about 1000 private hospitals competing for the award, ten assessment components become the standard criteria in the 2021 PERSI Award, including Leadership and Incident Management, Coordination Management, Communication and Information, Financial Administration and Business Continuity, Human Resources, Capacity Boost, Continuity of Essential Support Services, Patient Management, Occupational Health, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Appropriate Identification and Diagnosis, and Infection Prevention and Control.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of RS Pondok Indah Group, dr. Yanwar Hadiyanto, MARS, “The welfare of health workers has been one of our main focus, even since the early establishment of RS Pondok Indah Group. These efforts that we build consistently became even more important during this pandemic, especially when the health workers are at the forefront of defending and fighting against COVID-19."

Hospital Director RS Pondok Indah - Pondok Indah, dr. Yuliana, MARS, added, "This award will always be a reminder for us to always play an active role in providing a safe and comfortable work environment for all health workers at RS Pondok Indah Group for the sake of accelerating the eradication of COVID-19 and the rise of Indonesia."

To improve the welfare of all health workers in the hospital environment, RS Pondok Indah Group also continues to make various prevention efforts, including through a series of health education and seminars for employees. In addition, there is also a particular schedule of examinations for health workers who have had a high risk of being exposed to COVID-19.
