RS Pondok Indah Diagnostic Centre, which consists of Endoscopy, Clinical Laboratory Service and Radiology & Imaging Service units, is supported with reliable and professional medical personnel, capable of providing diagnostic interpretation, which allows the best and optimal therapy planning for your health management.

Endoscopy

Endoscopic procedures can be performed for those of you who have complaints related to digestive tract, such as the stomach, intestines, bile duct, and other organs. The available various endoscopy services include:

• Laryngoscopy to assess the condition of the throat and vocal cords
• Bronchoscopy to assess the respiratory tract, such as the trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. Bronchoscopy can also be performed in conjunction with a trans bronchial lung biopsy, a lung tissue sampling procedure that is mainly performed in cases of suspected malignancy
• Esophagoscopy to assess the esophagus (throat) and can be used as a guide to install metal stent, which is the preferred procedure for esophageal stricture
• Gastroscopy to assess the esophagus (throat), stomach, and duodenum
• Rectosigmoidoscopy to assess the rectum and sigmoid colon (large intestine)
• Colonoscopy to assess all parts of the large intestine, such as the ascending, descending, sigmoid, transverse, and caecum colon. A metal stent installment in the colon, which is indicated in cases of colon narrowing due to cancer, can also be done at the same time as this procedure

Now the endoscopic services at RS Pondok Indah are also equipped with capsule endoscopy technology, which allows painless and non-invasive visualization of the gastrointestinal tract visualization using a wireless camera in the capsule.

In addition to enable visualization, endoscopy also helps carrying out medical therapy directly on the affected organs, as follows:

• Gallstones removal and insertion of stents in the bile duct or the narrowed pancreas through endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• A measure to destroy precancerous lesions in the esophagus (esophagus) with radio radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• A measure to drain liquid from the area around the lungs or abdominal organs through the installation of a pigtail drain
• Non-surgical measures to remove polyps in the upper and lower digestive tract with polypectomy gastroscopy and polypectomy colonoscopy
• A measure to stop gastrointestinal bleeding with hemoclip and esophageal varices ligation
• Dilation of the esophagus with balloons and stents for esophagus stricture and colon cases
• Insertion of percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy (PEG) in patients with swallowing disorders
• Sclerotherapy for hemorrhoids
• Aspiration (suction fluid) on abscesses or liver cysts
• Bile drainage in blocked bile ducts

• Colonoscopy: an examination using a small camera to assess all parts of the large intestine; the ascending, descending, sigmoid, transverse, and caecum colon
• Gastroscopy: an examination using a small camera to assess the esophagus (esophagus), stomach, and duodenum (12 finger intestine)
• Biopsy: body tissues sampling for microscopic examination

• Therapy, such as:
• Polypectomy: a removal of polyps/lumps with the help of colonoscopy or gastroscopy
• Percutaneuous endoscopic gastronomy (PEG) installment: feeding tube insertion in the stomach which can be indicated for people with swallowing disorders or difficulty in consuming adequate food by mouth

Clinical Laboratory Service at RS Pondok Indah Group serves various supporting examinations to support a doctor's diagnosis, such as:

It is also equipped with our own blood bank to ensure the availability of blood for those who need blood transfusions, an anatomical pathology laboratory and microbiology.

Radiology & Imaging Service

The Radiology & Imaging Service Unit provides a variety of diagnostic services, such as:

• Musculoskeletal examination analysis (examination of the knee, ankle, shoulder, and other joints);
• Early detection of stroke cases;
• Dental examinations such as periapical, occlusal, panoramic, cephalometric radiographs, and 3D CBCT;
• Conventional X-ray examination (chest, spine, ribs, and abdomen);
• Digital full spine and whole limb;
• Breast examinations such as ultrasound, mammography, 3D sonomammogram, and MRI 3T breast;
