Medical Treatments

Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty Procedure (LHP)

Treatment of hemorrhoids using the Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty (LHP). The laser is used to reduce hemorrhoids tissue without touching the anoderm area, followed by a natural anatomical reconstruction so as to minimize the pain with faster recovery period. This procedure can be performed in one-day-care service.

Fistula-tract Laser Closure (FiLaC)

The FiLaC method is a laser surgery to completely close the anal fistula without damaging the surrounding tissue and muscles. The use of laser is expected to cover the fistula perfectly and reduce recurrence.

Bariatric

A surgical procedure to help you losing weight. The procedure is usually performed on people with morbid obesity problem, who are difficult to be treated only with a diet and exercise. Prior to the procedure, the doctor will perform a complete medical examination on the patient, followed by determining the bariatric surgery option according to the patient’s condition.

Dialysis Catheter

A minor surgery to place a tube on the surface of the skin into a large vein under ultrasound guidance. This installation allows for hemodialysis in patients with kidney disorders.

Circumcision

A surgical procedure to remove or cut skin (foreskin) covering the head of the penis. The primary purpose of circumcision is to maintain cleanliness around the penis to prevent various diseases, including phimosis, paraphimosis, fungal infection, and malignant tumors.

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

Noninvasive procedure without incision to break kidney stone with sound wave energy. The sound waves created by lithotripter is directed from outside of the body to the kidney stone to break it to smaller fragments that will be excreted through urine.

Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy (PCNL)

Treatment of large kidney stone or staghorn (shaped like a stag’s horn) that is difficult to treat with ESWL. This treatment is minimal invasive with lighter pain compared to open surgery.

Laparoscopic Appendectomy

A procedure to remove the cecum or appendix using the laparoscopic method. The advantages of this method include being less painful, smaller surgery scars, and faster healing process.

Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

A procedure to remove the problematic gallbladder by performing a small skin incision, e.g. gallstones.

Fistulectomy

A procedure to open up the entire fistula to take out the inside. The surgery is performed if the patient experiences symptoms of pain in the anus, resulting in the presence of mucus or blood when defecating.

Core Needle Biopsy

A procedure for taking samples of tumor tissue using a hollow core needle, which will afterwards be examined under a microscope.

Fine-Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB)

A procedure to take part of the tissue with an aspirator in the form of injection needles to help diagnosing tumors found in a superficial location, such as the breast.

Puncture or Suction of Cysts and Seromas

A procedure of liquid extraction from the cyst that can grow in various organs or body parts. The liquid extraction can also be done to seroma (a condition of liquid accumulation under the skin commonly happens after surgery).

Endoscopy

Examination of the body cavity by using an endoscope for a diagnostic or treatment purposes. This technique uses an optical fiber and video technology to enable inspection of the entire body structure.

Uroflowmetry

Non-invasive examination to determine urinary tract function by using special equipment to detect the speed and flow of urine, as well as the total volume. This examination can detect abnormalities of upper and lower urinary tract.

Urine Culture

A test method to detect the presence of bacteria in the urine as a sign of urinary tract infection. This examination can also be used to determine the type of bacteria causing the infection.

Medical Technology

Robotic Prostate Biopsy

Robotic Prostate Biopsy is a state-of-the-art biopsy technology designed to detect prostate cancer at an early stage with significantly higher precision than conventional biopsy methods. During tissue sampling, the procedure is guided by MRI imaging that is seamlessly integrated into the robotic platform, resulting in a superior detection rate and exceptional diagnostic accuracy. This technology also supports faster patient recovery and minimizes the risk of complications.

Breast Ultrasound

A device that utilizes ultrasonic frequency sound waves to determine the cause of pain, redness, and the inflammation of the breast.
