Patient’s Rights

  1. Receive information regarding applied hospital’s rules and orders.
  2. Receive information on patients’ rights and responsibilities.
  3. Obtain humane, fair, honest and without discrimination services.
  4. Receive high quality healthcare in accordance to the applied standard of profession and standard operation procedure.
  5. Receive effective and efficient services to avoid any physical or material loss.
  6. Submit complaints for the quality of services provided.
  7. Select doctors and type of care in conformity to their choice and hospital regulations.
  8. Request for consultation on their illnesses to other licensed doctors (own SIP) inside or outside the hospital.
  9. Receive privacy and confidentiality over their illnesses, including the medical data.
  10. Receive information that consist of diagnosis and medical procedures, the purpose of medical procedures, alternative procedures, possible risks and complication, prognosis of the medical procedure and cost estimation.
  11. Give consent or refusal for medication provided by health workers or medical practitioners for their illnesses.
  12. Accompanied by their relatives during critical condition.
  13. Perform religious rituals as long as it does not disturb other patients.
  14. Obtain security and safety during their stay at the hospital.
  15. Propose advice, improvement and suggestion over hospital’s treatment.
  16. Refuse religious services that is not in-accordance with their religions or beliefs.
  17. Filing a complaint regarding hospital services which are not in line with standard of service through print or electronic media should be done in accordance with the applied laws and regulations.
  18. File a lawsuit against the hospital if allegedly providing services that do not fit with civil or criminal standards applied laws and regulations.

Patient’s Obligations

  1. Provide comprehensive and correct information in regards to their health problems.
  2. Obey the advice and guidance provided by doctors or dentists.
  3. Obey all applied orders and regulations in healthcare facilities.
  4. Compensate all the services that have been received.
